The Algars defensive line

The Algars defensive line is one of the great mysteries of the Spanish Civil War. Built at the beginning of the war, its controversial involvement in combat has fostered a wide range of views from well-known and local historians. Fortified galleries, anti-aircraft shelters, casemates or forts, among others; they allow the visitor to realize the magnitude of these works. Unfortunately, many of these constructions underwent human action in the post-war period to extract iron, but they are still impressive.
