Family: Greenway

A total of 23 kilometers of lane adapted for cycling. It is a very flat route, adapted for children and families, especially if we go downhill. The route crosses several tunnels – it is advisable to bring frontals – and some aqueducts surrounded by lush nature. We also border heritage, such as the medieval convent of Sant Salvador d’Horta de Sant Joan. After Bot, the valley opens up where the Canaletes river flows, a tributary of the Ebro on the right, between steep rock walls. After the old station of Prat de Comte we pass the Sanctuary of the Fontcalda where the river flows through a series of vertical rock gorges, with temperate waters and natural ponds to take a bath. The section of the Terra Alta Greenway ends at Pinell de Brai station. In this town we can visit the modernist Cooperative Winery of the architect Cèsar Martinell, a disciple of Gaudí.
