The place-name of Caseres has its origin, according to the tradition, in the great abundance of hunting of its term. The municipality is located on the banks of the river Algars. The beauty of the natural landscapes of this river is one of the attractions of this town. The economy of the municipality is based on agriculture, where the almond tree, the olive tree and the vineyard are its main crops.

Walking through the town

Among the emblematic buildings of the village we find the Parish Church of Santa Magdalena, begun to build in the thirteenth century. The building of the old town hall is also worth mentioning. The river Algars borders the town and allows you to enjoy a pleasant walk and recreation in the lower part of the town.
